SUMMARY:Orange Walks
DESCRIPTION:Sunday 1st June\, several Orange Walks will converge around the Cathedral Square area.  Around 780 are expected to march in total with some smaller marches converging into other larger walks.  Roads across all parts of the city are expected to be subject to rolling road closures so be aware if you are planning to travel.  The March from Kinning Park will be travelling up High St.  Duke St will also be affected.

SUMMARY:Glasgow Close Knit Community event
DESCRIPTION:The “Glasgow Close Knit” community initiative\, which began in late 2024\, is a collaborative project by the Presbytery of Glasgow. It involves knitting or crocheting squares to create blankets for people in need\, and these blankets will be displayed in various locations within the Presbytery later in 2025. The initiative aims to foster community\, connect individuals\, and address homelessness within Glasgow.  \nThey will be running an event on the Drying Green Area on either Sunday 22nd June or Sunday 3rd August 2025 (weather dependent). The event will start at 10am and finish at 6pm.
