Most of the Calton Community Council area is covered by the UK Parliament ‘Glasgow Central’ constituency, apart from a section to the north which is covered by the ‘Glasgow North East’ constituency.

The section to the north mainly covers Duke St, Duke Wynd, Havannah St, and Hunter St.
