Calton Community Council Public Meeting

NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED "In The City" Music and Food Festival in Glasgow Green on Saturday 23 August and Sunday 24 August 2025. The event will begin set up at Midday on Friday 22nd August and will vacate the Green by 5pm on Monday 25th August

Kidney Research UK, Glasgow Bridges Walk, Sunday 31 August 2025. Access to the site from 7am, vacating by 6pm. The walk will begin at 10am (meeting time with walk to start at 11am) and finish at 5pm.

Second Chance Project - Dassie Green. Access to the park will begin 9:00am and will vacate the site by 12:00 noon.

Calton Community Council Public Meeting

The MS Walk, Glasgow will pass start from Glasgow Green on Saturday 13th Septmber.  The event will start about 9am and finishing at 4pm.  The walk will also pass through Kelvingrove Park. Access to the site will begin at 7am vacating the site by 5pm.

There will be a farmers market at Barras Art and Design on Sunday 14th September 10am to 3pm.  Entry is ticketed, but free.  Link below for more information and tickets.

On Tuesday 16th September there will be a photo opportunity at McLennan Arch on Glasgow Green.  People will be on site from 08:30am to 10:00am.  20 people will be involved.

As September is National Recovery month, Freed Up CIC will be holding an event on Glasgow Green, next to the People's Palace pm Saturday 20th September from 11am to 5pm with access to the site from Friday 9th at 9am, vacating by midnight Sunday 21st September.  

As part of Fresher's Week Strathclyde University is hosting a 2k Relay sports run at Glasgow Green on Friday 19th September.  Starting at approximately midday and finishing at 1pm, they will be on site from 11am to 130pm.  They anticipate 150 people will take part at any time.  They will be setting off and finishing […]

Local Schools Fun Run in Glasgow Green on Thursday 25 September 2025 from 10am to 11 am.  Site access will be 9am to Midday.
