Thenue Housing Association have organised a clean-up in Calton on Thursday 3rd of August from 11am to 2pm, with a focus on Tobago Street, Green Street, the park and Elcho Street.
As part of this clean up Mears will provide the equipment required for the activity including high-vis vests, litter picks, gloves, rubbish bags and will carry out a needle sweep prior to the activity. They will also provide Luton vans to carry larger items that have been dumped and will dispose of this at their depot in Blochairn.
We hope to see some of you there – especially those who have previously expressed interest in litter picking at our meetings!
