With the improving availability and access to AEDs (automated external defibrillators) in our communities, it’s important that we build local knowledge of their locations and add confidence in their operation. With local knowledge and community resilience, we will save lives.
To support this the crews at Calton Community Fire Station would like to offer a demonstration on the use of AEDs and the provision of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to our communities. They will also signpost to the British Heart Foundation Circuit, which will help people locate their local community AEDs, along with the BHF 15-minute mobile RevivR training.
