On Monday, a Proposal of Application Notice was lodged for the final Collegelands site, which is bordered by Havannah Street and Hunter Street. There will be a first consultation event on Tuesday 26th March, 3pm-7pm, and will be held at Collegelands (Fresh Student Living), 10 Havannah Street (next to Spar), Glasgow, G4 0UB.
Tricia Fort, our chair, said “This is a significant site and we would urge residents and businesses to get involved and have their say in the consultation process. We’ve been in conversation with the site owners for some time now and have been able to introduce them to a local charity, Dream Machine Productions, that has some interesting ideas for parts of the site to be community owned and run. We’re keen to know what the whole community thinks of these ideas as well as the wider development proposals.”
