The East City Way Phase 6 and 7 Traffic Regulation order sits outside of the Community Council Border of Calton, but may still affect its residents. Full details can be found at the link at the end of this post, but to summarise…

On London Road, between Kirkpatrick Street and Canmore Street, proposals include:
No waiting at any time No loading or unloading at any time: on both sides
of London Road between Fielden Street and Canmore Street
No waiting No loading or unloading at any time: on both side of Springfield
Road
No waiting No loading or unloading at any time: on side roads along
proposed cycle route
No waiting at any time No loading at any time: except goods vehicles
9am to 4pm on north side of London Road 75 metres east of Kinloch Street
Prohibition of Driving: except cycles on south west side of Springfield Road
into London Road
One way northbound: on MacDuff Street between London Road and MacDuff
Place
Extension of existing 2 way cycle route: on London Road between
Kirkpartick Street to Fielden Street
Segregated with flow cycle routes: on both sides of London Road between
Fielden Street and Canmore Street

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Group Manager, Technical Services, Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability, Exchange House, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RX or email sustainabletransport@glasgow.gov.uk and it must be received by Friday 16th December 2022.
