Below is a message we received from the Chair of Safe Glasgow Partnership. We would love if you could take part!
Glasgow City Council is using the Glasgow Community Choices website to have a digital roundtable discussion on road safety with the residents and communities of Glasgow.
The Council is committed to Vision Zero where nobody is killed or seriously injured on our roads. To achieve this, we need to work together to identify things that improve road safety for all road users, and to collectively figure out the best way to implement any changes. This online engagement brings together people in Glasgow with an interest in road safety, with officers from the Council and Partners to shape decisions around how best to achieve Vision Zero.
There are a small number of questions to spark a debate and conversation around road safety, 20mph limits, and reducing car journeys. The engagement tool will also allow an opportunity for you to put forward your proposals on how road safety can be improved across Glasgow.
Over the next few weeks, I ask that you answer the questions, participate in the conversations, and put forward road safety proposals to help make our communities safer.
There is a help section on the site if you need any assistance. Please register or login on the Glasgow Community Choices site now, using the myaccount service.
