Last night (9th October 2025) was the AGM and Public meeting of the CCC. A well attended event where we heard about the Avenues Project and how it will affect the Calton; the issue of the annual disruption by football fans at Glasgow Cross, The Thistle and much more.
We would like to take this opportunity to say “Thanks and Goodbye” to two of our community councillors, who have stepped down this year. Alasdair Finlayson who has done sterling work covering all things Licensing and Cait Longman who has been repping for you at the Area Partnership. You will be missed and good luck with your future endeavours.
We would also like to welcome two new members to the committee Arthur McJimpsey, life long Caltoner and local historian, and Cathy Kerr. Buckle up, its a rollercoaster ride! Thanks for getting involved.
