Agenda for the Special Public Meeting (23rd March)

Below are some further details of Calton Community Council’s Special Public Meeting, on Thursday 23 March at 7pm, to investigate the potential for community use of land near Havannah Street, G4.

The agenda for the meeting will be:

  • 7:00 – Welcome and introductions, Tricia Fort, chair, Calton Community Council
  • 7:05 – The developer’s proposal, Paul O’ Donnell, Dawn Group
  • 7:10 – Our journey, Brian Land, Barmulloch Community Development Company
  • 7:20 – Our experience, guest from the Concrete Garden
  • 7:25 – Our experience, guest from Possilpark People’s Trust
  • 7:30 – Q&A, contributions from the floor and panel responses
  • 8:10 – The next steps
  • 8:25 – Closing remarks
  • 8:30 – Close

The meeting will be held in the student block at 10 Havannah Street, Glasgow G4 0UB, the block closest to the Moxy Hotel, which is just to the north of High Street Railway Station. 

There is a Spar shop on the corner of the building and the entrance door is next to the shop. We will have someone at the door to guide you in prior to 7pm and will post a contact phone number for any latecomers.
