An application has been recieved for the use of office (Class 4) as service centre (Sui Generis) at 105 Bell Street. The applicant is working on behalf of Terrence Higgins Trust, a British charity that campaigns about and provides services relating to HIV and sexual health.

In the cover letter, the applicant explains that Terrence Higgins Trust is relocating from their existing premises on West Regent Street, due to their wish to expand their Glasgow operation.

The service centre will have offices for staff, councelling rooms, therapy space, training/event space and a clinical room, and be largely focused on visiting members of the public who are seeking advice and services.

The centre would run between 9.30 and 17.30, with occasional weekend and evening use. The applicant believes that the centre will not attract a high level of footfall, nor noise or disturbance.

No external changes are proposed, only internal adaptation to suit the service centre’s needs. Further details can be found by searching for 23/00502/FUL or and all comments, views and objections should be sent by 31/03/2023 to planning&licensing@calton-community-council.scot
