If you see drug paraphernalia littering a public place please report it to Glasgow City Council as soon as possible. The best, and quickest, way to do this is by using the Glasgow App on your mobile phone. In the App go to “More” at the bottom of the screen, then “Environmental” and finally “Discarded Needle”. Then use the online form, which can also be found at https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=20296. It would be helpful if you could attach a photo showing the litter site.
If you would find it easier, a phone number is given: 0141 287 9700

As we shared previously, the Safer Drug Consumption Facility on Hunter Street is expected to open this coming summer. Evidence from other countries with such facilities is that public drug taking and drug-related litter reduces once there is a Facility for people with addiction issues to use.
