An application has been received for a variation to a Market Operator’s Licence. The applicant, Margaret McIver (The Barras), is looking to open the market on a Thursday Evening from 5pm until 11pm every week. The application explains that “it is proposed to initially open a section of the market facing onto Gallowgate and below the Barrowland Ballroom specifically for the sale of Sustainable and Arts & Crafts products. As and when interest grows, other sections of the market falling within this application will come into play.”
This application does not allow for objections or representations due to the terms of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act, 1982.
