Planning Application – Use of land as external seating for adjacent pub

An application has been received for use of land as external seating area associated with adjacent public house, at 283 Gallowgate (Hoops Bar). From the site plan, the applicant appears to be looking to add 8 picnic-bench style tables, defined by barrier posts and banners. The bin area is proposed to be screened, and the access from the pub to the external area is directly from a door at the “customer area” and down a ramp. This proposed site plan is attached below, and all comments, views and objections should be sent by 04/01/2023 to planning&licensing@calton-community-council.scot
