Strathclyde University looking for Study Participants

The University of Strathclyde is conducting an exciting research project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, looking at ways to support everyday memory performance as we age. The project is led by Professor Louise Nicholls at the University of Strathclyde and involves collaboration with the University of Leeds and the University of Sheffield. The researchers at Strathclyde, Dr Gerard Campbell and Rebecca Hart, are now looking for young (18-35) and older (65-85) adult participants. They are urgently seeking both younger and older adults to participate, as both groups have a vital part to play in our understanding of healthy brain ageing.

Participation would involve completing a brief survey, then attending the Strathclyde campus in central Glasgow on one occasion. At the session you would be asked to complete some tasks looking at your memory and thinking skills, taking up to 90 minutes, including breaks. Participants must: be fluent in English; have normal or corrected-to-normal vision; have no known motoric, neurological, or psychiatric conditions; and be living independently in the community. Participants will receive a £10 high street shopping voucher as a thank you for their help.
