
Here is an- incredible opportunity for young people aged 14-18 this summer. The University of Glasgow, in collaboration with GMAC Film and SWG3, is launching a Filmmaking Summer School.
Filmmaking Summer School is a free, creative arts project designed to inspire, engage, and empower young people through hands-on experiences. The programme includes free creative workshops, with food and travel included, focusing on:
– Filmmaking, sound production and storytelling
– Set design, spray-painted props and special FX make up
– Opportunities to meet creative makers and innovators
– Exploration of creative careers and job pathways
– A final showcase to celebrate participants’ work
Filmmaking Summer School will take place during July, and there are 20 spaces available, with priority given to those living in areas of high deprivation.
