In response to concerns being raised at the Thistle Community Engagement Forum about the increasing numbers of discarded needles in the area, the Thistle Centre has informed us that two new sharps bins have been placed in key hot spots for discarded needles- the Morrisons car park and Elcho Street. In addition we are told that an action plan is under development to tackle the issues that are being raised.
