Welcome Places are the designated areas of Glasgow where residents are guaranteed warmth, security and refreshment. The first of these specific schemes opened on the 17th of October, with more opening on the 31st. As well as offering residents a heated space, many of the Welcome Places also provide support and information about other ways to deal with the Cost of Living Crisis.
For most residents, Calton’s closest warm bank is likely to be Bridgeton Library, but a map of all Welcome Places can be found by clicking this link.
