Back on the Road (BotR) is a local Glasgow programme based at the Bridgeton Bus Garage. The programme supports people in addiction recovery by providing vehicle restoration workshops and training to increase their employability and lead them to achieve positive destinations. In 2024-2025, almost half of BotR participants and graduates re-entered the workforce or achieved positive outcomes. According to pre- and post-programme assessments, their employability and well-being improved significantly.
BotR is now opening recruitment of participants to help people in their addiction recovery journey.
