SENT ON BEHALF OF THE CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS (TCV)
We are currently in a twin crisis of climate change and biodiversity loss that is having an impact on the daily lives of communities. Clyde Climate Forest are delivering across Glasgow City Region to try and mitigate against those impacts.
TCVs workshop aims to introduce and educate people on those twin crisis and the role of trees and woodlands in urban areas to combat against this. We will allow people a space to get together, watch our joint Climate Forest film and take part in an interactive session that puts the aims of Clyde Climate Forest and community voice together in order to plan for what next in these communities.
Join our Clyde Climate Forest workshop, learn & discuss how trees and woodlands can help protect and improve the places we live. Explore local opportunities and challenges, and help us shape future action for Rutherglen.
What does the workshop involve:
1 Participate in our 2 to 2.5 hour interactive workshop with Clyde Climate Forest to help design climate action in your community.
2 Discover the benefits of trees and woodlands in communities. Why do we need to plant so many trees for the future? What are the targets? What are the plans for Rutherglen and what has been achieved to date.
3 Join the conversation to share ideas and shape action.
4 Help us build climate action for trees and woodlands with the communities voice.
5 Come along and grab a coffee, tea or snack
Your voice matters, so join the conversation and have your say.
